Michael Goode has worked on a wide scope of political, policy and communications issues at the state, local and federal levels. He understands how the interplay between politics, policy and communications can help you achieve your goals.

Michael has worked on the campaigns of Senator Trent Lott, Congressman Roger Wicker, Senator Bill Hawks, Congressman Van Hilleary and Lieutenant Governor Amy Tuck. In his work as Political and Communications Director of the Mississippi Republican Party, he has served as a campaign advisor to numerous legislative and mayoral candidates.

Michael spent 4 years working on Capitol Hill for Congressman Roger Wicker and Congressman Van Hilleary, gaining a broad knowledge of state and federal issues in the process. Most recently, he served as the Director of Policy and Planning for State Treasurer Tate Reeves, where helped Reeves with his transition into office and worked on financial and budgetary issues for the state.

Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Mississippi State University.

Pete served in the Reagan and first Bush administrations at both the state and federal levels – first as State Director of the Farmers Home Administration and later as Deputy Assistant and then Assistant Secretary of the Economic Development Administration at the U.S. Department of Commerce.

After his stint in Washington, Pete returned to Mississippi as Executive Director of the newly formed Presidential Initiative on Rural Development. He concluded his tenure in the public arena as Regional Director of the Rural Development Administration, where he was responsible for business, community and housing development programs in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas.

Pete is the father of two children, Jim and Rebecca. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Mississippi State University.
